SP defended AP to the hilt but the defence was hardly very believeable was it!
I would have been embarrassed to have uttered that statement.

I can hear Kammy shouting out "Unbelievable" !

Some might deem that Mr Parish's comments were plausible and clarifying the situation after being "Put on the spot" by the interviewer.

It is starting to look as if Wilf & Benteke are keeping AP in his job right now.

IF Wilf goes to the AFCON then the supply dries up a fair bit but if Benteke gets injured as well then we're right in the s****er as far as I can see.

Personally I don't want big Sam as a manager but maybe, just maybe, he might consider a defensive coaching job as a way of getting back into the game?

Who knows? So many of us seem to be clutching at straws these days......

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

Chance of this is somewhere between zero and nil.

Probably, but it's a straw nonetheless

Bill - you defend Pardew as much as I don't - debate is great and differing views make for an interesting debate.
We have a difference of opinion but I hope more than anything that we win tomorrow night and again on Saturday and that Alan Pardew proves that he is a better Manager than I think he is.
My probem is that I just don't see it - long term and bigger picture.
also - I do not want Sam allardyce as our Manager but if we find ourselves in deeper doo doo by Xmas what choice will we have?
That's all I meant.

Fair enough Dolphin,I just get fed up with idiots on here who blame Pardew for literally everything.
Now AP is far from perfect but on Saturday the lads go one down because of Tom Daley!!
Fight back to lead,go behind again and fight back to draw and some Nigel says he has lost the dressing room now come on.!!
His error Saturday was bringing on Cabaye IMO.

According to Mr Parish, Pardew wasn't referring to messrs Harris and Blitzer but some of the smaller investors, in fact he said that Blitzer had lived in this country for 10 years.Parish said it was a "Non-story".

Some of course will believe him whilst others will conclude that he went beyond the facts !

It was a tad unfortunate then that Pardew used the phrase 'serious investors' wasn't it?

I dont give a sh1t about any of the above and statistically whatever whenever. That man is not, I REPEAT NOT GETTING anywhere near the best out of the players available and playing. That is what matters, not whether we accept being losers or just about equalling or improving on someone from 20-30 years ago.

I, we, have licence to moan now. The man's football, approach, ideas, preparation, influence and long term handling of a squad are damn right risky and playing with our future.

I care about being a soft touch right now. Not being able to hold a lead for 3 minutes. Not being able to defend a corner. Conceding from our own corners. Letting second rate players walk past us at will. Players not covering others, no communication, not enough defensive training, players wanting more defensive training week after the extra defensive training that failed at Swansea. Those are the things I care about right now, not the loser, settle what will be will be attitude of some our fans.

I remember when some of us weren't happy with Freedman. 'Relegation? So be it' was the stance of the maturer and wiser amongst our fans. Soon after when DF was told to start using Zaha and bought Bolasie because it was about to probably be Zaha's last year we started brushing aside anyone who came in our way. We really do have some white flag wavers in our ranks. well I will be singing loud these next 2 games and I'd do anything to keep us up but that bloke is not a good thing to hang onto that you think.

I am one of those who likes to keep expectations realistic and give a manager time (including Pardew until very recently) but I totally agree with this post. There are managers available who can make us organised and professional – and not necessarily boring! Always hoping it might click next week, despite all the evidence, is madness.

This I agree with. It was the worst move AP could have made in my opinion and I have realised that Cabaye is not the man he was. Our whole game changed when he came on to the pitch..for the worse. I only wish he was not AP's love child!

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

This is what I’m afraid of. Big Sam will be snapped up in the next few weeks. I believe with a group of players that is underachieving (and having the likes of Benteke and Zaha), we could be one of the more appealing options for him. Don’t miss the boat Palace!

Within a year a similar thread will be up moaning about the s*** quality of football fat head plays. Happens at every club he goes to.
