BA cabin crew also balloting...

I suppose the inevitable 'safety concerns' will come into it.
Will only hasten far tougher trade union
laws and I hope Mr Grayling gets his finger out on this without delay.

Why do you think the interests of the workforce and the safety of passengers is not important?

They always bark about safety like aslef during the tube strikes but I remember a driver was sacked for being pissed and another opened the doors the wrong way but they went on strike for them, safety?

I'm pretty sure the driver wasn't drunk. But targeted because he was a union rep.

He had downed the best part of a bottle of vodka & his locker was overflowing with empty miniature bottles of liquor.

To be fair, this one is about postal workers now and I'd totally back drunk postmen staggering about the road. I'm bored with our sober postman.

Any source? (or sauce)

I think we might be mixing up the case where the breathalyser was found to be faulty yet he was still going to be sacked so his union brothers and sisters supported him.

Our postman from about ten years ago used to get absolutely smashed after his shift. I'd see him walking home after and the walls and fences were the only things keeping him upright.

Optimistic as ever
