BBC sport rumour mill suggests that Spurs will be back in for him in January for £25 mill. I don't see him staying with ho wthe team/results are going. Plus if he goes , 100% he'll get picked for England.

Exactly, his agent will fill his head with BS & £££ & he'll be slung on the bench again or worse, loaned out to a lesser club. All boils down to what the lad wants, regular play with fans who love him or, a few more quid but irregular action & the overwhelming feeling of being an 'also ran'. He's loved by the fans, just need the club to cough up & throw him a wage in keeping with other so called bigger names here that are failing to show their worth.

Fans who love him and a manager who'd have trouble running a bath let alone organising a team unit. I'd suggest he's getting cheesed off at the mo....

What like Liverpool and Man City, where he got two of his assists this season? Or reigning champions Leicester where he got one of his other assists?

Pfft.

All those teams renowned for being great at the back. Oh actually not.

Oh sorry, so you mean big teams that don't concede goals. So are you basically talking about Chelsea (who we haven't played yet this season)? Or how about Southampton who have the second best defence this season and who Wilf tormented?

Last night Wilf was beaten not by his lack of ability but Man Utds ability to cut off the supply to him. A couple of occasions he left their defence for dead (like when he knocked the ball on and whizzed round Rojo (I think?). Until Rojo's stud-up challenge he was also on his way through to goal.

Zaha has made a big leap up in quality and decision making this season and to say he flatters to deceive is strange to me. Even if it were true that he can't play at his best against the big four, that is only 8 games out of 38, and I don't believe that's true anyway.

Only De Bruyne has more assists this season, but apparently Wilf can't make good decisions. FFS he has more assists than Coutinho, Sanchez and Payet, but yeah, you know, flatters to deceive.

Anyone who thinks Zaha is "average" does not understand football.
If we do manage to stay up this season, then his sale in the summer would mean certain relegation next season. We are struggling this season in large part due to the sale of Bolasie. Zaha going will be curtains. That quality of player is just not generally available to the likes of us in the transfer market.

Agreed, though I think the replacement plan was good. No many thought Townsend would be invisible.

Need a winger in the window since Townsend/Lee/Sako can't even fill the left part time.

Considering we rejected 21m for zaha in august, i find it very very unlikely we will sanction a move in january at any price- the threat of relegation means this would be suicide. Last night wasn't a great performance but zaha was played out of position for most of the game. Also some of his performances against bigger clubs have been outstanding, against liverpool 3-1 at anfield, tottenham 0-0 where him and bolasie played incredibly. Zaha has the 2nd most premier league assists this season. The more this continues the more suitors will become interested.
By far our best player this season.

Against southampton sako looked fitter and sharper, them got injured. I still have hopes he will come good.

Zaha is miles better than the likes of Jesus navas, Walcott, lingaard who play regularly for top teams. Zaha isn't going tear up every team every single game. Yesterday he was played out of position then blind did a good job on him. In a better team I think he would be so so good, and if you can't see that he's been too good for this team this season then you need examining.

There will be bids.
