Can't believe people still saying 'eventually our luck must change'... Anyone who thinks that this ridiculously bad run we've been on for the last 12 months is down to luck seriously needs their head testing!!

Another loss... 5 wins in 30 odd games... A team that is not improving every season but is in fact getting worse. Surely people must be able to see in the last 12 months that something really isn't right.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

..hard to blame anyone for that goal, in actual time I shouted out keeper get it! But then on reply I shouted at Dann to challenge, to go back to the cross and blame the players around for allowing it means the cross and execution was exceptional and out of the ordinary ....the sole reason they are nine points clear, one chance and bang.

Quality cross, and an excellent header. I'd agree. But I was responding to the criticism of Hennessey. I'm no fan, but I don't think he was solely at fault.

I expected nothing from this match, and Chelsea showed why they are so far ahead. But that type of defensive lapse, quality goal or not, has been endemic for a year.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

Dann to blame for the goal. If he'd have attacked the cross instead of watching Costa they wouldn't have scored. Didn't even get off the ground..

..Costa is waiting for the ball with two eyes because he is watching it, Dann is watching Costa with one eye and the ball with the other, it was a very Costa moment, a moment that Chelsea paid a lot of money for.

We did it to Everton and it wasn't cheap.

Craig Pawson just sent off Vardy for a 2 footed tackle, excatly the same type of tackle that Rojo did on Zaha and the same ref.

Thought we played pretty well apart from Benteke. What a lazy arse! If you compare how he played at Villa with how he's performing now it's a disgrace. It's a shame Wickham is injured as if I was Pardew I'd drop him to give him a kick up the arse.

Yes, he's scored a few goals but Palace has always been about giving 100%. AJ was the epitome of what the club is about. He worked his socks off every game.

How can you blame him service was poor again

Next game could be interesting. Both puncheon and Zaha both hobbling at the end. .....

He's also just given Stoke a penalty for a hand ball by Leicester, amazing.

Quite easily actually as he didn't track back at all and pretty much gave the ball away when he had it. It's not just about standing in the penalty area waiting for the ball to come to you.

They have improved, but we still look far too fragile, and I am not sure he can fix that. As such, I don't see further improvements at the back with him in charge. His teams have always shipped goals, and that fact does not make me think he can tighten things up much more than he has.

If we got in a good full back and a proper defensive midfielder, early in the window, he might have a chance. But with the players we have, I just don't see the needed improvements happening.

I suspect that SP is waiting for the window before he makes a decision on AP. As such, I hope for AP and the club that he has players lined up to come in ASAP.

I've always seen your comments as well considered. Did you watch today's game? We were as vulnerable as any team are versus the league leaders. I thought we were good value for a draw but were undone by a good cross/poor keeping

Thought we played well today, not that Chelsea looked that good. Problem being all the other defeats in 2016 make this type of game less enjoyable as we need points badly. So much better to watch when there is no pressure losing against the tops sides. Arsenal will be the same if we don't get points against Watford :-(

..we are struggling in one area, but I can see an improvement and this improvement is very hard to justify against the best side in the league and one that will score many more goals against teams in our position in the table, meaning we are in the wrong place and nobody can say we deserve to be where we are considering the actual fighting performances of the team during every game, the team managed by Mr Pardew.
Every team makes mistakes otherwise every game would end 0-0, most teams in our position are struggling with form and achieving goals, we are struggling with just mistakes, mistakes that can and are being dealt with by our great manager, Mr Alan Pardew.
