He does seem to sulk and all too often this season he has lacked energy in games, which is perhaps a result of that. The truth is Wilf has been better on the right than Townsend has, so why would Pardew switch it? My question would be, did they know Bolasie would go before they signed Andros? If they did then I think it was an ill advised purchase; however, if it was to add competition then fair enough. If we can add a decent left back plus hopefully a new left midfielder/winger then I think we could have a strong second half to the season. I might even be tempted to try and sell Townsend if he isn't showing the heart to try and win his place back as I wonder if he could do more harm than good sulking on the bench.

He wants to play on the right, cut in, and have a shot. We need him to play on the left, put in some decent crosses for Benteke and weigh in with some shots as well. He's more than capable of doing what we're asking, but he doesn't want to and is therefore sulking. With our squad and current injuries we need flexibility and he doesn't seem like a team player to me.

Overrated one trick pony, I remember spurs fans getting fed up with him, unfortunately he hit form for Newcastle and had a buy out clause which made him look like a good option. Only wants to play on the right so let's get a left winger in jan and get rid, should get a decent amount for him. Better than having him in the squad sulking.
