If you like gin you should have a look down the back of the settee and see if you can find enough to fund the purchase of a bottle of premium gin rather than the standard stuff.

Sainsbury have Whitley Neill London Dry Gin on special offer at £21 or Tanqueray No.Ten at £25 both of which are considerably nicer than gin ordinaire.

Make sure you only drink it with a premium tonic such as Fevertree though

Naked Wines sent me a free bottle of a lovely Spanish Mediterranean gin - Rumbala or some such. Absolutely delicious, even without a mixer. Sipping gin, what kind of deviant weirdness is this.

Excellent taste there Chris

I am especially partial to Young's Special

But have you tried Lidl Golden Goose. Like a weaker version of TTs... but at 89p per pint! Brewed by Wychwood which is a Marston's brand.

In a pub a craft lager if they have one. Samuel Adams is my favourite. If not Peroni or a like

with food Sauvignon Blanc preferably from New Zealand but Chile do nice ones as well.

After Gin and Tonic. I'm in a Craft Gin club and get bottles every other month so that's interesting to try.

Of course Champagne always goes down well, particularly in the summer.

Distressed to see the word 'craft,' creeping in here. (Craft Ale,Craft lager,Craft gin even.) Marketing mans wet dream brand any old tat craft and double the price.

Proper real ale (Run a multiple CAMRA award winning club,)Nothing artificially fizzy. or single malt (current rocking some of the Highlands & Islands drams,) maybe with a drop (literally,) of water to bring out the taste.

I haven't heard of that one but a Spanish gin called Gin Mare is my favourite tipple and although quite expensive at £38 a bottle it is much cheaper in Spanish airports and I tend to bring some back every time I'm over there

Hopefully most people aren't that stupid. Craft gin making has taken off in a big way in the last few years and there are quite a few micro distilleries around. A couple of weeks ago I went to a gin festival and sampled some of the first batch from a local company owned by two lads who actually distilled the gin in their spare bedroom. Rather nice it was too

Funny enough I find most 'craft' lagers taste like old fashioned IPA, chilled.
Remember the fad of a pint of lager & light ?

drinks wise, I tend to nick the odd glass of shampoo or proscecco from mrs KD, but its generally bad news for me if I have more than 1 or 2 at most.
plain old lager for me(v. cold though) moretti/peroni/hieneken/ tiger/kingfisher/estrella, any of those.
Used to drink way too much vodka but don't keep it in the house anymore (more my own good)but have it with fresh squeezed orange when I do.
Just discovered johnny walker blue label, which lasts me a few months or so.
neat/or with a bit of ice.
/will try a few different ones now
Don't mind a G&T either.
Mrs KD makes a mean 'breakfast martini'
which is gin/Cointreau/some sort of orange alcohol/lime and marmalade all shaken up with crushed ice.

I have developed an allergy to alcohol and a couple of sips is enough to bring me out in a red rash and I feel sunburnt.

However when I brave it mine is Malibu and pineapple juice (very del boy) sometimes a vodka and red bull or shots of Apple sourz.

Love the smell of gin and tonic but not so much the taste

Can't stand wine , can't handle the gas and fizz and quantity of liquid of having a beer

Each year I buy a bottle of Courvoisier and have a tipple after each Palace Win.

I don't need to buy one for 2017.

Palace 13th 2017/18.
