As for non alcoholic drinks I'm big on coffee, I spend a fair bit on single origin beans from the likes of has been and am analysing when brewing it to the point that I use scales and a timer. Don't do fizzy drinks anymore, what a load of white they are. Drink a lot of water instead.

The only red wine I've ever seen which you're supposed to chill. Many of the cheaper red wines are chilled in Greece. When I queried this with the waiter he said "surely you don't want to drink wine at Greek room temperature in August which I suppose was true

Remember the old days when one used to take a female for a 'Date' and she used to order a brandy and Babycham ? And one used to turn up at parties with a 'Party Seven'. In bygone days I used to imbibe 'Captain Morgan' rum, 'Chateauneuf Du Pape', 'Barolo', port etc etc but now I just stick to lager. Edited by Willo (31 Dec 2016 10.05am)
