You're asking me what it's all about, and I can't tell you because I don't know what's going on myself.

Hoddle's comments on BT always are astute and make sense to me. I can understand why people would jump onto the fact he hasn't managed for 10 years but I reckon he is up to speed with the Prem, knows the business and would create a more entertaining team than Alardyce and would win as many games. What's not to like.
(We wont take any sort of risk and will give the job to Alardyce. I blame Pardew for that. If only we had sacked him in the Summer and gone for a more creative option then, we would be ahead of the game by now.)

There's panic all right. The missus has deemed mine and the kids' pile of presents to her to be worryingly small. Now I'm thinking, Yeh, fair dues. Probably have been a bit slack.

Only there's no time to go and she's said in no uncertain terms that she doesn't want THIS Saturday to be ruined like every other Xmas eve we've ever had together and tomorrow we have a rare chance to not be with the sprogs but with friends.

Thing is, I can't buy any old tat (well, not until the very last minute anyway) and I keep suspecting myself of trying to do exactly that.
