Indeed true, but we haven't conceded a goal yet either!

But he is into his 4th pie. Getting some great coaching from Woodman

Well he is our Manager now as reported by SkyNews so lets get behind him. He is our son of a bitch.

I think it's genuinely a 50/50 chance BFS will still be in charge for our final league game of the season.

I assume SP and the Americans will hang onto the hope we will sign saviours during the transfer window.

So if we are not winning some league games in February it's likely BFS and Little Sam will be shown the door.

Disappointed with the BFS post-match interview.

You should never describe your players as 'failing' in public especially.

He signed up without thinking to get back in the PL and now he has taken on too much?

no matter how good the players are that we sign in this window, they still need managing to get the best out of them, as do the rest of the team. That is down to BFS. If he considered his methods good enough for England going up against the best players in the world, then he should have no problem turning our current plight around.

The only trouble with the latter is persuading decent players to come to CP bearing in mind the mess AP has left us in, what good player wants to come to a club that is in the position we are in, thank God we could attract a decent Manager with a good and proven record in this league, now we have to hope he can do the same to some decent players and get rid of the rubbish AP left behind!

There's a chink in that logic though. As bad as we were in The Euros, Hodgson couldn't have left as big a mess for Allardyce to clean up as Pardew has.

Personally I really like the 3-2-2-2 or 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 or whatever you want to call it and think it suits the players in our squad far better.

Without doubt it's the best use of Jeff S and our defenders with the left-footed DD and right-footed JT.

It also allows us a chance to put two strikers up top, which we have not seen consistently for donkey's years.

Maybe BFS has half a chance of seeing the season out if we make this system work the way we should.

We've failed to score in 5 of his 8 games in all comps.

Of course he couldn't. The England players spend their whole time playing and training with their respective clubs, the England manager has very little effect on their development as players. Pardew on the other hand was entirely in charge of the development of these players for two years and the only one who actually improved over that time was Wilf.

In many ways it's a pity Pardew didn't get the England job because then players everywhere would have been safe from his legendary ability to f*** up their development, confidence and fitness over the medium to long term.
