If Pardew was to go it had to be in October. Sam is not the answer in December and we are going to pay dearly for it. Hope the board are looking for a long term replacement.Sam is not the answer he is an old dinosaur and the England debacle finished him off.

Allardyce WILL keep us up !!
2 or 3 more (including PvA) good signings before the deadline.

I like your optimism but who do you think will come in and get us out of this mess. We have a top striker who cost 30 million who's scoring has dried up under Allerdyce. We have no one else who can score enough goals to keep us up.

6 league wins in 2016. Worst record of any team in the leagues, and a few non league ones.
We got to a cup final though...which we promptly lost.
And he made himself look an even bigger prick with that silly dance.

Think Clitenburgs decision on Wilf has damaged us more than we knew. That decision probably stopped Sam getting the massive impact win in his first game and us getting the old new manager bounce.
I am worried, but Sam didn't get Sunderland going straight away, so there's still time. My biggest concern is that Sam really doesn't seem like the Sam we all know. Not sure how damaged he is after the England stitch up.

I think he should have gone at the end of last season but the reason he kept his job was because he got us to a cup final. If we had been knocked out in the third round he would have been sacked and we would have had a new manager in place for the summer transfer window. I don't think we will survive this season and it won't be Allardyce's fault.

Obviously Pardew takes some blame, but if Sam can't keep us up with half a season in charge, he will have a large part of the blame too.
Don't excuse SA because you don't like AP and don't excuse AP because you don't like SA.

I think Mr Parish bought into Pardew's ideas after all he spent time and money getting it off the ground. When Pardew came in he believed that Palace would not survive for long the way the team was set up. Apart from Pullis I don't know who else we could have got in that could keep us in the Premier for 3 to 4 years. Unfortunately he jumped ship for whatever reason. I hope I am wrong but I don't think Allerdyce will do the same as Pullis and had he not have been sacked by the F.A. he would not have come to us. 2016 was a disaster but anyone we appointed after Pullis / Warnock would have been a risk let's be honest we have no right to expect a top manager to take on the job.
The reason Pardew was not sacked in the Summer is because Parish believed in him and paid his wages If the American Consortium were not on board I believe he would still be here now ie thumbs up after Southampton.
Would we have stayed up? Doubtful!
Will we stay up now he has gone?
The future doesn't look bright. If we stay up will Allerdyce stay? If we get relegated who next?
