I certainly used to think Allardyce wasn't the answer on the basis that we were trying to play one kind of football and Allardyce has a reputation for the kind of football we were supposedly trying to move on from. Since then however: - I have read more of Allardyce's CV;

We are fans of Crystal Palace. In a short while the manager will have left and hopefully we will still be in the prem with an even better team and improved infrastructure. Pardew had to go, a year was enough time, Alardyce will get us out of this mess and the board can get the next appointment when needed absolutely spot on. Merry Christmas all and a Happy New Year

Try not to do towards Allardyce before a ball is kicked or a month is out with what you accused the people who could see the obvious mess Pardew was making of his 'transition season.' That's a laugh. Transition. Another way of getting his excuses in early because he doubts himself, just like he keeps gambling all on win every week, again, because he doubts himself, and he's right to. He knew it was sipping away and it did. Very good for us for 1 year and terrible for the next. Enjoy the upcoming matches. I am now. It was sh1t before going to expect us to roll over.

Maybe that was me calling a truce, temporary or not till our next discussion or disagreement. Whatever it was in your head it was a positive end to the arguing. Get a life. Very very sad, but I know why you felt you had to take the small opportunity to put one on. You're pro-Pardew and I am not.
