It was like a weight was suddenly lifted and with Sam coming in I now feel optimistic for Palace for the first time in half a year or so. Very pleased with this week and how the club have handled it.

also, merry christmas HOL!

And if we go down, no doubt it will be be Pardew's fault. But that's ok, "Hey! We got a fantastic bloke in, he's never been relegated!" (But we still might.) And we will play $hite football too. But that's ok too. What happened to the *next level* $hite spouted by many on here last year?

We just went backwards to stay in this league. Progress means change. We haven't done that with this appointment. It's the same old $hite now.

This manager is a class A dodgy dealer. He is still likely to face FA charges. That will reflect on our club, but you all seem to see that as fine. I don't.

I never want him near our club, let alone managing it, regardless of his ability. The man is toxic.

he doesn't play s*** football but I guess you'd need to watch his teams (especially Bolton with the flair players and Sunderland after he signed players in Jan) to know that

And how did that end? And West Ham? And Newcastle?

See a pattern? If not, you are looking at the wrong stats. The fans wanted him out from all of those clubs. Why?

Systematically dragged down by the lawmakers

Most fans at Sunderland would have him back tomorrow. He only left to take the England job. As for Bolton all managers have an expiry date (except maybe Ferguson and Wenger) and he was there for 8 years.

I wish him well. Tactically wanting. Horrible errors Inexcplicable substitutions. BUT some thrilling games. Chelsea and Man U were hard pushed. Goal difference impressive. Back from two down thriice. Not regulation fodder in my book. I'm enjoying the season. Best ground in the world too. Happy xmas.
