Flamini off to Marseille should really be off now. Impressed in his last two games and the whole defence seemed more confident yesterday. Almost none of the hazardious back-passes either. Obviously some words from Big Sam before game. Well done and soon 2016 is part of the past..

He seemed to make a particular effort to shake Sam's hand after being substituted. I suspect he'll be here until the end of the season. Played well yesterday

He was better than Arteta when we released the two. Unfairly scapegoated by our fans, always gave his all. Will always remember his two goals versus Spurs. Has lost his legs though. Imo, if Sam wants the team to sit deep, then he can do it

As for Flamini leaving, iirc, he's never left any club in the middle of a contract.

Flamini has filled-in at right-back and left-back although that was a while ago. He was a player who was renowned for covering a lot of ground in a game but he is now 32 and one cannot expect him to do what he did when he was much younger. I was probably at my peak physical fitness at 32.

Really really hope he stays. Does his role superbly. Runs, tackles, passes - all those simple things that enable others to play, like Kante does for Chelsea. Cabaye is definitely a better player with Flamini on the pitch.
