What takes all this time!!!

West Ham put in an offer - accepted - and have announced the signing of Snodgrass all in 24 hours.

The guy had a medical this morning - two hours tops. Where is the announcement???

Wouldn't it be good for everyone to get the good news out there asap. Why does every signing have to be drawn out like this........

Unfortunately, that is the way of SP, he is so cautious, he finds it hard to make a decision, same with nearly all our transfers, if he does not get a move on he will find that we will already be in the championship!

Why?Have you spoken with SP? Are you part of the players negotiations? No, I didn't think so.

Clearly I'm no Sunderland fan, but every time I've seen VA play he looks good. The way we are defensively at the the moment he can only be seen as a positive addition. The very fact that he wants to join another club in the bottom 3 that are also on a horrendous run, shows me his willingness to fight to get out. I expect good things.

Out of interest why does everyone get so flustered? SA said he was having a medical that should be a foregone conclusion. So why is everyone in such a rush to hear he is now a Palace player?

Because he has had a problem with his ticker just a few months ago and if he has failed a medical it doesn't leave much time to find and sign someone else

Nobody actually knows what this heart problem is. It may just be a condition, like an irregular heartbeat or something like that. Where have you seen it came up a few months ago?? You are making a statement without any back up source to it. The first anyone heard of anything was in Big Sam's press conference yesterday

perhaps not but there's a theme here isn't there?

a palace transfer in takes a lifetime longer than any other team in any other division

Well Sam is the Manager and we should back him rather than a Sunderland blogger.

But you make your choice.

I will wait until I see him playing for Palace.

Hopefully he is better than Mutch.

Shouldn't be too difficult!

Don't forget though that not only do the owners have to agree personal terms but also sell the archaic stadium and facilities to a player.
That has to take longer than usual surely.

Babs and Clean Willie were in love they said....

Yes, of course it does, any proof? Or just based on when rumours start to when signing occurs? Do you have all the stats on that? No, thought not.

Well at least the Palace club doctor will make a bundle on his private fees for what is now nearly a 24 hour medical. I like a thorough doctor.

Your not to far from the truth smart pants, it was based on conversation I had with one of SP friends over a function dinner when our mutual interest was CP and he told me SP likes to be controlling over everything that is done at CP!
