Could he be any more vague ? Sam Allardyce says Palace are "very, very close" to signing Patrick van Aanholt from Sunderland and he expects to sign two more before the deadline. He also says that he has tried to sign "20 to 30" players this month. One a day!

08:02 Patrick van Aanholt should be available for Crystal Palace's Premier League game at Bournemouth on Tuesday, manager Sam Allardyce has confirmed. The Dutch left-back had a medical with Palace on Friday ahead of his proposed £14m move from Sunderland. How does that work if he's not a palace player yet then ?

Theres a bit more paperwork apparently, dont know why. So we will have PVA for Tuesday, but no Schlupp sadly because of his hamstring pull yesterday.

Cant see us now signing Brady as well.
