Why do women need to gang up on men?

My wife needs to find something in common with other women she meets at social events.

Fair enough.

But why does that seem to involve slagging off men.

The other day, I just caught the end of a conversation with a woman who was slagging off her husband, who seemed to be a doctor

I heard her say, "That's exactly the sort of thing my husband would do, Mrs Shipman."

My wife was slagging me off the other day to her girl friends saying I'm always pushing her around and talking behind her back.

I wouldn't mind but she's in a wheelchair and I'm her carer!

My mrs threatened to leave me the other day because of my obsession with Oasis. She said "If you quote Liam bloody Gallagher one more time I'm packing my suitcase, is that what you want?"

I said maybe...

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Sexism against men does seem acceptable.
I was listening to radio 5 the other day, when the female presenter said jokingly "typical male, can't multi task"

Can you imagine if a male presenter said "typical woman, can't park"
Or some other mass generalisation.

Wife: Guess what dear, I have great news! I've just won the lottery!! Pack your bags!

Husband: That's fantastic! Should I pack for the beach or the mountains?

Wife: who cares, just get the f**k out.

They don't really need to gang up on men as they are always right anyway.

Is that really sexism though? I'd rather we got back to a point where we freely admit that on the whole men can't multi-task and women are terrible drivers.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.
