To be fair to Allardyce, Pardew had already flirted with that and I was a bit surprised to see it continuing under the new manager, but I suspect that Townsend may have been piling on the pressure to play where he wants. It hasn't taken SA long to realise it doesn't work and he did swap it at HT yesterday and then rapidly replaced the sulky b****. I've been saying for a while now that Townsend needs to be told in no uncertain terms to get on the left and start putting some crosses in. In the last couple of days someone responded saying that he is only effective on the right; I have to say I've seen very little evidence of that (beyond that pass for Cabaye); inverted winger my arse! Maybe Allardyce now realises that he has a much bigger job than he had expected.To my humble mind he will need more than the "One or Two" in the 'Transfer Window'. Dire, Debacle, Disgusting,Disappointing,Despicable,Dastardly, Diabolical.

Maybe Allardyce now realises that he has a much bigger job than he had expected.To my humble mind he will need more than the "One or Two" in the 'Transfer Window'.
