Well I don't hate him: I don't have particularly strong feelings about him one way or the other. I just don't believe he got the best out of the available players and this is why we've ended up in the soup.

I'm sure Alan Pardew served me in Weatherspoons near closing time on Friday night. The clock was running down and I was getting desperate but he said, "We haven't got Kronenbourg, but I can find a substitute." He brought a bottle of tomato juice, three minutes before closing time and placed way out of its proper position.
