Ideally I'd like Sam to sort Dann out and get him to prove he deserves the captaincy.

I would prefer a new captain but stripping Dann of the captaincy may damage his confidence, so I'm not sure if it would be a good thing for the whole team. However if a new captain is appointed, I would like it to be Damo as has real passion, fight and he seems to be someone who is constantly talking to other players and in some cases calming them down.

Flamini seems to be the only other leader inthe team to me.

Perhaps in a few years players like MacCarthur, Punch and maybe Wilf will devlop into better leaders. If Puncheon does ever become captain, he is goin to need to learn how to communicate and interact with fans better, at the moment he's a real misery

Needs to be someone who is an established long standing member of the team. Will never work in a million years if you basically bring someone in for the job. I would say delaney but as someone else has said he can be a bit hot headed and temperamental. However maybe the confidence and position given to him would rein that Side of his personality in a bit.

Flamini would be my choice if we'd changed, but I'd stick with Dann and see what Sam can do with him over the next few weeks.

Dann is fine and the stand out choice. Get a defence that knows what it's doing and is well drilled with good cover from diligent midfielders and he'll excel and be better than any other candidate. Taking it off him would just be a petty punishment for the failings of Pardew.
