Was just watching the Millwall game and Andre Coker looks a bit tasty. Husin has also been on the bench obviously for the first team. Who are the best prospects we have and a bit of info about them? Also I hope Big Sam isnt as afraid as Pardew was to play some youngsters. Personally I think Hiram Boateng and Kaikai could actually be doing a job for us right now. Also dont forget Kwesi Appiah was good enough to play for Ghana but couldnt get a sniff with us, that was insane.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Kwesi Appiah is 25 or 26 though I think, so not as young as the others you've mentioned.

Boateng has not shown anything that would make you think he's ready for top level football - he's had 10 appearances in League 1, some in league 2 but thats it.

Kwesi Appiah is 26 as someone said and has scored 10 goals in 52 football league games (9 of those goals in League 2). It's not gonna happen.

There's a reason these guys don't play. In the Championship you're a lot more likely to get chances but in the Prem the stakes are so high and the quality is so high. Kaikai could well get a look in this season as he has had Championship experience.

I've always believed in giving them a chance because you just never know what impact, say, Husin may have had coming off the bench on the games he was there. these players could provide the spark and energy the first team needs and quite frankly from some performances we might as well give them a go

The guy that had the most recent "next big thing" tag was probably Kian Flanagan - Irish under 18 international and supposedly been tracked for some time by Chelsea and Arsenal

Stop dreaming, none of the academy players are setting the world alight in lower leagues on loan. Why do you think putting them in the first team in the Premier, all of a sudden they are going to spark into life.
Too much at stake, proven players used and bought in.

I'm sure Tottenham fans said the same when Kane was only making the bench out on loan in league one. A player can have tons of quality but can be a completely different player depending on the team around them. There's tons of factors rather than just ' they weren't voted the worlds best player while at Burton'

I watch the Palace U23 games and Husin is terrific and he is going to be a big player for us in the near future.
Wan-Bissaka and Michael Phillips are also looking very promising.
As with all good young players consistency is the key.
