Bloody hell... Sadly he will be remembered for his terrible spell as England manager, although in his defence he didnt really have particularly great players to choose from at that time. He was a far better coach and manager than people gave him credit for. RIP

Blimey, wasn't expecting that! Very entertaining when punditing. I've got his initials on the back of my car. I think I'll remember him - with affection - every time I open the boot. RIP.

This is sad news. I had the privilege of chairing a Financial Services dinner some years ago with Graham Taylor seated beside me as guest speaker. He had just taken a role at Aston Villa as Director of Football and of course I took the opportunity to tell him I was a lifelong Palace supporter.
You can face anything if you are true to yourself. |
