Many of the marque signings don't seem to care because they know if we go down they will go somewhere else on £100K per week. I say get players in now that will have an appetite to get us back up next season. Our confidence appears to be shot and we never looked like retrieving the game once we went behind. Mentally the team deflated like a punctured balloon in the second half, no attacking threat whatsoever. I fear for the team now. No sign of the 'Allardyce effect' . Getting new players into a failing team ain't going to be easy. We are falling towards relegation, not climbing out of it. A long hard slog ahead of us...
