"I think you are overlooking the fact that Pardew left a husk of a squad with its confidence shot through. You dont turn round a sinking ship that quickly. I will start to judge Allerdyce on the players he brings in to the squad to address the biggest weaknesses and ultimately there is only one think I want from him this season which is to keep us up. Just as he did at Sunderland with a weaker squad where it took ten or so games to imprint his personality on the team" ^^^THIS^^^

not after less than four weeks in the job, fair judgement will be just to ask him to keep us up, he is really up against it, Pardew legacy, team that has forgotten how to win or defend, players who are not really worth what we paid for them or indeed up to the required standard, short transfer window, limited funds and on top of all this he has turnaround the mess that AP created over a year with one short and one long transfer period and frankly the largest spend budget in CP history, not easy, so lets hope he can pull it off!

[Link] yes seems a fair assessment of just how bad things are, good picture of Benteke, no sweat on body or shirt, gloves on hands, only needs a blanket to keep him warm whilst he lets the rest do all the work!

yes seems a fair assessment of just how bad things are, good picture of Benteke, no sweat on body or shirt, gloves on hands, only needs a blanket to keep him warm whilst he lets the rest do all the work!

We have to hope he can do the business for us because otherwise if we head back to championship with the wage bill we have we will be in the deep brown stuff with a bunch of expensive misfits who we will not be able to get our money back from selling them on because no one will pay what we have paid out for second string at best players!

It is not that simplistic, any new managers needs at least six games to just be able to understand what he is dealing with, Sam record is there for all to see, he has never been relegated and he did an excellent job at Bolton on limited resources and again at Sunderland. We have to hope he can do the business for us because otherwise if we head back to championship with the wage bill we have we will be in the deep brown stuff with a bunch of expensive misfits who we will not be able to get our money back from selling them on because no one will pay what we have paid out for second string at best players!
