Yep - if Pardew had stayed we probably would have ended up a disappointing 16th or 17th.

But luckily we got rid and now we are going to end up...er...

They didn't play like Pardews team. Pardews tesm scored goals and played good football and lost by 1 goal or 2. And were never in the relegation zone. Hell we beat Southampton 3-0 at home. Now we play s***ty defensive football hoofing long balls and couldnt score in a brothel. Big Sam is taking us down. Well done the Pardew out brigade. How many times did we lose 3-0 to bottom hslf teams under Pardew? I'll wait.

You've got a point.

Of course he's not, he's just here to pick up his pay cheque to fuel his chewing gum addiction, as well as something to put his whole England boss fiasco behind him.

How anyone can defend Pardew is totally beyond me !! In the last 12 months of his tenure we were the worst performing team in all 4 divisions - speaks for itself. Parish made a massive mistake in his blind faith in him and in supporting his idea to change our style so quickly. The players they bought were a waste of money and now we are paying the price. Allardyce has a proven record but he needs to make a lot of changes in a short time. When Pullis came in he had fantastic pace in Bolaise and Zaha to counter attack but Sam has neither so we can't play that game.
Pardew's big money signings just aren't doing it and that won't change but Sam has to balance playing them as opposed to dropping them which would devalue them and dent our balance sheet .
Paying out big money guarantees nothing if the big shots don't put it in and that's what we have now. All of the pundits have constantly said we are too good to go down but what do they really know ? They are all full of BS. The truth is we are in big trouble and we have to rely on Big Sam now to turn it around - thère is no better qualified manager to do the job so we should all get behind him instead of adopting the same stupid attitudes as idealistic West Ham fans did.

Just substitute Newcastle for West Ham in the bold section of this post, then read the first line.
