All entitled to our opinions. But I reckon yours is wrong. He's not the worst by far. He's got great vision, good dribbling ability and generally works his socks off. I'd be starting him. Was our best player for the first 3 games or so of the season...then as soon as Punch is fit again, he's out.

Underrated.

Just my opinoin, of course

Lee is shuts...Apart from the odd glimpse of why we bought him he has been woeful..Summed up beautifully by him all but taking an air kick in the pen area yesterday.

Running around doesn't make you a footballer being able to have an influence on a game does. He turns possession over too mutch...He's lightweight in the tackle and apart from a great strike 14months ago offers very little else.

Jordan Mutch on the other hand is a better passer of the ball, retains the ball far better, is better in the air and in the tackle. Sadly though he seems to be the scapegoat for a lot of people who don't understand the game.

Both of their games are geared towards a slower more possession based game. I rate Mutch ahead of Ledley, although that's not saying much. Lee could be a decent player played as an attacking midfielder if we choose to play through him, he is absolutely not a winger, especially in our system where the full-backs don't cross the half way line.

Damo should be back up at best. He brings heart but we should have a better number one centre back than him. Ward? Was full of potential but even last season when chipping in with goals wasn't convincing.

Punch has been good for us and at times our best player. I'm starting to wonder if that's the problem though, the bar is too low

We have had a dead cat bounce since Allardyce came in. In my opinion we look worse. He needs time but Hull did ok didn't they.

Agree with this re damo and ward. They have served us well, but now, damo is not even a good squad player. Him and Ward are doing their best but its just not good enough any more. Ward at a push keep for back up, but playing them both in the same defence its no surprise what is happening.

Ledley and Hennessey

Other players are underachieving but we know they can step up, on the other hand Joe Ledley does a nothing job in defensive midfield and Hennessey is an absolute liability. Flamini is far superior in Ledley's position and Speroni showed against Bolton that he still has more shot-stopping ability than Hennessey. Speroni would have definitely claimed one of those loose balls for West Ham's 1st and 3rd goals and would have stood a better chance for Carrolls judging by Hennessey's laughable attempt at a save.

When the options are there why these players are still being selected boggles the mind.

That is the most pathetic post ever on this site. No keeper in the world would have saved that shot.

Delaney and Ward have shown in the past to be capable at this level, Ward has been ok at right back this season but struggled again at left back. Delaney was my MOTM for the Southampton game, he's still better than Tomkins from what I can see. I'm ok with having both of them in the team, they are lower PL level players if you have decent players alongside them, having Joe Ledley running through treacle in front of you and Wayne Hennessey behind is not going to fill any defender with confidence.

Good thinking 'In Drag With Red On'.

ps I may have got that translation wrong....

The problem wasn't so much getting rid of players like Jedinak. The problem was not replacing them with quality. I.e. Skill and character

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Blimey, if you're a footballer and Jordan Mutch is believed to be better than you, I reckon it would be time to give up being a footballer!
