Neil Ruddock. Awful signing. Not sure the transfer fee was, if ever it was disclosed, but however much it was he wasn't worth it. He was known to be on big wages at the time too.

its easy to single out benteke...but when hes playing in a tram stripped of any attacking train of thought, isolated up top on his own & feeding off scraps i kinda feel sorry for him as a footballer. ive been that situation myself allbeit at sunday league standard and its depressing.

To this day it all started to go wrong big money transfer wise when we paid a ludicrous £650,000 for Mike Flanagan a few months after Notts Forest broke the British transfer fee by paying £1m for Trevor Francis in 1979. Flanagan was beyond sh1te.
