We will beat Bolton tomorrow, even though Sam has said for him, the Cup is a low priority which is refreshing and realistic.
He clearly has a better understanding of our very precarious plight and intends to concentrate on the league, unlike the previous prima donna, peacock, prancing, dancing prat,Pardew, who played his part in getting us in this disastrous position.

All the people moaning about pardew and last year's cup final. No one was complaining when we won the semi and made the final. Everyone wanted to be a part of that day.. don't pretend otherwise. It's getting boring.

Well said Michaela. Some people are very uptight right now, and have a need to blame someone, forgetting everything else.

P.S. I think I love you...

This time last year we had 30 odd points, the cup was an added bonus, further we went in the cup, the more it was the only thing keeping our season from being rubbish, baring in mind we were confident we would stay in the league.

This season it's a totally different kettle of fish. We need to purely focus on the league, so ppl don't want the cup - distraction, injuries etc. But, others do want the cup as extra fitness training, chance for other players to shine and team building.

Personally, take the FA cup as extra training.

A progression through the cup (not necessarily all the way to and involving a final but a run of sorts) could be the tonic bfs, the team and the fans all need. We need a bit of joy and some wins from somewhere. Fact is we could exit the cup tomorrow and still be relegated. I would rather if we do end up going down we go down bloody fighting rather than roll over and die

Personally, like i said, i would view it as training, utilize it well. Take it serious and you will see the ones who want it shine through.

But to go all out against city, get injuries and lose... is it a risk worth taking?

I think that's what many are saying.

We simply must win tonight, our team confidence is low now defeat tonight could shatter it completely. Got to get our season off the ground with a win. Hope Sam picks a team that can deliver both a performance and a result.

ive got a bad feeling about this, as someone said above, they're going to want it more than us, so a typical Tuesday night 0-1,,,,,at least it'll save me some money watching us get beat by City in the next round!!

Allardyce said there'll be someone who has just returned from loan in the team, which must mean Kaikai or Keshi Anderson I guess? If nothing else I look forward to seeing how one of our prospects gets on.

Hopefully the team selected plays to win rather than playing like they don't want to make mistakes. Allardyce's pre-match comments are either going to shake them up or make them sh*t their pants (ie if you can't beat a league 1 team then you're not good enough for the PL). I'm going to go for the former and a 2-0 win for Palace.

Sounds a bit like Roy of the rovers so maybe it could be kaikai of the krap or sullay of the sh**e
Maybe a 2 0 tonight with Campbell Remy goals and a much needed confidence boost To be fair if Tompkins had scored before half time sat could have been a different story as hammers confidence would have been shattered instead of ours in second half
