WiIlo your correct he did join Sunderland in October, And Sunderland were in a far worse position than we are. And he did get out of trouble in the last 6 games of the season, After 32 games Sunderland were on 25 points and were still in the bottom 3 as they had been all season, they stayed up by gathering 12 points in the last 6 games. At Sunderland he had Defoe whose 15 PL goals were hugely influential in keeping the up.Up front he also had Fletcher and Borini.He brought in a centre-half in Kone, a defensive midfielder in Kirchoff who can also play in defence and another midfielder Khazri who has excellent delivery at set-pieces and corners and gained a reputation for this in France. I re-iterate, he joined Sunderland in October so had time to assess his players before the January 'Transfer Window'.

Ever since TP's first transfer window Parish has shown his tendency to 'dither'. We escaped on sheer luck for three seasons and if we escape this time with SA it will be luck again. I like and admire SP, but if there's one new year's resolution I want for him, it's to be faster with his decision-making.

Yeh agreed, we dont want a Deadly Doug kneejerk type but we have the anti-Jordan in place currently. We need to be way more decisive moving forward with the big decisions. There is not a single other premier league chairman who would have given AP so much rope to hang himself with.

SP has backed all the Managers and given them time. What I saw last night was Townsend on the LEFT and getting in good crosses for BENTEKE. Give him service and he will score. Managers nowadays take to much of the blame,the players need to stand up and be counted. Our lads have made to many schoolboy errors. Eradicate those and we will be fine. Big decision for Sam Saturday is Wayne or Jules.

What was Pardew's treatment of Gayle that you are complaining about. Do you mean not playing him like all the other Palace managers that had him in their squad. Also what was arrogant about selling a centre forward who subsequently couldn't command a place in the team he was sold to and eventually found his level again in the Championship
