Schlupp in, Ward out

I do feel sorry for Ward though - moved from pillar to post for months on end - never allowed to play in his natural position.

I doubted Wards ability last year but he's been solid when played at RB, he can't play LB. Tomkins has been poor imo.

Ward is far from perfect, but just once this season I'd like to lineup with a back four of people actually playing in their natural positions. Ward at RB and Schlupp at LB for me. Ditto anyone who says ward should be sold and Kelly kept is just bonkers!

Schlupp LB, Ward RB for now, then get in two new full-backs and play Schlupp as a winger.

I think it's more a case of having a clearly organised back four who don't have communication issues when marking players. Ward isn't the only one having a mare of a time and for a player who has played his heart out in the past, I'd give him the benefit of the doubt when he is played in his preferred position.

We still need a left back as Schulpp (Ive probably spelt it wrong) though a versatile left sided player probably would admit left back is his worst position on that side . Left mid ,left wing or wing back is where we will see the best of him . Ward has proven himself a capable right back and one that will fight for the cause . I wouldn't dismiss him just yet even with the signing of the excellent Tomkinson who will probably go straight in at RB . As it is Ward will probably continue on the left
And we still need a striker |

Ward has been terrible last 2 seasons , Tomkins right back ,schlupp left for me please! Hopefully get Jenkins in soon!
