It was better, the players seemed to know what they were supposed to do,they had a game plan.
And the introduction of Schlupp was a big plus.
Also the reaction of the fans at the end was a big improvement on the one at the Swansea game, which was embarrassing .

We didn't score though. And we still lost. And we got zero points. Not really better. And definitely not "10x better". Better is gaining more points per game than we did under the last manager. Whilst I think we didn't play badly, it was by no means better than before Allardyce came here. At least we scored goals, even if we still lost.

by using your logic, we're no worse then?

I have to agree that for the first time in a long time and using the 3-5-2 formation, it looked like the players knew the game plan, knew what they needed to do and were relatively successful for 60 minutes without being amazing.

However, as soon as Remy went off we reverted to type, aimless booting of the ball to Benteke with no attempt to keep possession and I said to my pal after 70 minutes, we're going to concede if we go back to this s***.

We desperately need another striker in the mould of Remy if we are to keep playing this system, we can't rely on him to get fit and stay fit for the rest of the season.
