Palace bid 12m for Milivojevic (LOCKED)

This is being reported in the Greek Press. Palace have made a £12m bid for Milivojevic. He is a Serbian holding midfielder, plays for Olympiakos. Had a very good season - always a question about how players transition.

Ha - sorry about the Greek link - if there any greek speaking people that can verify that the story does actually say that we have made a bid, please step forward! I am reliably informed by an avid olympiakos fan that he has been their best player this season, but he is very defensive, do not expect a goals or assists.

Ed Aarons from Grauniad tweeting 10m Palace bid accepted but citing Greek media. Olympiakos are streets ahead in Greek league and prolly feel they can afford to let him go. I think it's a case of getting one good signing and others will follow. Nobody wants to be the first zebra in the river.

Asked my mate who is a Panithanaikos fan and he claims this bloke is very, very good. Supposedly been courted by top clubs in Europe but nothing ever materialised as asking prices in the past have been too high. Make of it what you will... I wouldn't be surprised if this is just his agent trying to whip up interest/trying to get new deal - which is believable as Palace rarely go abroad for top talent. Would be great if this did materialise, breath of fresh air is what this squad needs.
