The players agent (Twitter) confirmed this fell through last night. The player didnt fancy the UK and said it was"too cold". Strange as I though Serbia was cold. Greece has better weather YES but the league is poor.

It probably appears to be cold due to association with the communist bloc countries which we often think of all having an ever-winter climate. However the temperature there is similar to southern Germany, hot summers and cold winters.
