Did we not allegedly miss out on Zoltan Gera back in 2004 when we failed to meet him at the airport, and he went to WBA instead? Not sure if this was ever true or just an urban myth.....

Far be it from me to belittle our beloved club but I'm still trying to figure out why a bloke who was playing in the Champions League would be prepared to come and join us, given our somewhat precarious position. Yes I know it will be partly because of the money but does he really want to risk playing in the Championship next season?
