Quite simple, because they didn't want him at the club and want him to fail probably with Palace going down as the icing on that cake. I wonder if these same people had abbreviations for Mr Pardew (I very much doubt it) or to them was he GOD?

I imagine they are stereotypical, hypocritical, sanctimonious left wing bremoanoers.

Clueless anyway. Happy for a squads' fitness tob evaporate 1% per week and with it the performances. Shambolic.

I call him BFS and worse. But what you say isn't true. While I didn't want Pardew sacked I was quite happy with big Sam. But what i'veseensjnce he took over is shockingly bad. The performances on the pitch, his attitude, results. He's ruined us. We're going down.

Hopefully, minimal injuries and a strong, winning side in place for this crunch match at Bournemouth, where a win will begin to turn our season around.
In our circumstances, a cup run would have been a dreadful distraction so pleased we are out today.

If only we had not had the cup run last season , Pardew would have been gone and we would not be in this mess.

We were going down anyway under Pardew, Do you think Pardew intended to go full calendar year with only six wins , and do you think that Pardew would not have tried to fix it , and do you think that if he could he would have fixed it,
Just grow a pair and support Palace , whether you like it or not Sam has taken the job he will do his best , if he fails we have lost nothing.

Problem with Pardew was he only saw his job was in danger at home to Southampton. At no other time did he respond to previous results, Luck, refereeing decisions, injuries, holes/vulnerabilities he had, he had to spend on those that bother managers have done or have to. This is is why he's gone and 99% of people know it had to happen. This didn't happen toPardew out of the blue. There were numerous incidents nudging him but nothing in response from super al.. Either too slack and/or wanting to stay cosy with Pardew. Probably both. Maybe he could claim being cosy with Pardew looks after the club's fortunes longer term but ignoring the day to day squad management is inexcusable.

It's as bad as people referring to Hodgson as 'Woy.'

Yeah I think it's pretty disrespectful, we are having the piss taken out of us as it is without our own fans doing it as well. This club had lost its unity.

Nobody is being disrespectful Allerdyce has been known as BFS for years since his time at Bolton. We all have titles on this forum. A tongue in cheek post yes but in view of his lack of impact so far it is in my opinion good news to be out of the cup so we can fully concentrate on our up coming critical matches.

No he hasn't. It was simply Big Sam. A subtle difference.

We made 6 changes but some other clubs made up to 9 changes.
But it is hadly surprising that we made quite a few changes - one suspects the supporters of Newcastle and Brighton who travelled 'Away' could hardly have been surprised either.
I'm afraid the so called 'Magic' of the FA Cup is fast diminishing.

Its fast becoming a competition for mid table teams, if your in with a big shout of automatic promotion or in a relegation battle then it tends to play second fiddle to the league. That's not the clubs disrespecting the FA cup just the financial reality of professional football today.
