Will get something against Bournemouth , then win the next few, watch. I reckon we get points from now to Watford, apart from Tottenham away.

Like everyone else I can't understand it either

You have a short memory.
Remember we had a so called manager by the name of Super Alan Pardew, whose failed tactics got us into this unbelievable mess.He should have been fired at the end of last season and his sacking so late in the day, has given Sam a mountain to climb in order to save us.

Pardew managed too turn everything around when he rolled up at palace he had less time than SA has had but difference this time is we had lost 25 games out of 34 and we've now got a losing mentally and Sam has the experience to turn it around that's what he gets paid too do at least

if we finish the season on the crooked ones current points to game ratio of 0.2 points a game we will finish the season on a quite remarkable 19 points.

You are sounding uncharacteristically optimistic.

'The Crooked One' ....what a lovely term to use about our manager and keeps the lines open for future objective debating.
Is this the one down from BFS?

We simply have to get 12 points of the next 7 matches
Bournemouth away - draw?
Sunderland home - win
Stoke away - draw?
Middlesbrough home - win
West Brom home - draw
Tottenham home - lose
Watford home - win
Even if we manage that which is unlikely, we will only get around 34 points as our next 9 matches are trickier.

And given the circumstances who do you think we should have turned to with the credentials to save us?
