These will come only when many more chances are created. That's the nub of the matter. We have relied on balls out to the wing - little comes through the middle. That's why Gayle left and Remy will struggle.
Shore up the defence - yes but instil some skill and creativity in the middle and we might survive.
Can't see this happening with Alladyce. When Pardew left the goals just dried up. It's not looking good.

The way it looks at present we have all the points we are gonna get this season.....can anyone see where we may get any points because I cant, what with injuries, poor referee decisions, substandard players and general lack of interest from many of the players.

I can't. Even if we make it to Europe next season. I don't like him, and never will.

I cannot , however much I dislike the manager, or player(s), or owners, change my colours. I was born Palace, I will be Palace, however, or wherever we play. I was born Palace. I can no more change that than I can change being a Londoner.

As much as I'd prefer a decent manager, we are stuck with Allardyce for the distance. If he fails, I will dislike him even more.

He needs to get 8 points in the next four games. Any less and he has failed.

IMHO.

We can only hope that a plan from BFS and the players getting some pride will pick up the points from those around us over the coming months.
Without most of those available points coming our way I cannot see us defying the odds and beating the top 5/6 towards the end of the season.
Pardew's delayed departure has cost us dear and whilst I hope he succeeds BFS was not the man for me - Rowett would have done more although I can totally see the logic in appointing BFS as on paper it made total sense.
I just hope I see him smiling at Old Trafford in May!

Whilst it's true that we can't afford to drop too many more stupid points aka Burnley, Swansea, Hull away and Swansea at home. I wouldn't write off all games against the top 6. United away is the last game and they may have nothing on that game. Also Liverpool and City are hot and cold. With a couple players more in this week we still have time to turn this around. Not a lot, but we have some time.

Was never going to happen based on the owner's previous appointments, Pulis and Pardew, both with PL experience. In fact it is this reason that Allardyce may well remain if we don't get the points, as this seems to be the norm in returning/gaining promotion, Benitez, Hughton, Bruce, Dyche.

Praying it doesn't go to that game. Smacks off the Arse away again. Also they may have a Champs League place riding on it !!

Our goal drought and poor defending is worrying. Look at Lincoln City, Wycombe and Wolves yesterday. They don't have £10M+ players, let alone a £30M striker. What they have is teamwork and fighting spirit. Buying big especially paying over the odds won't guarantee staying up - I hope to be proved wrong comes May.

Let's face it we've had it, the fight has been drained from them, we look all over the place now and look like an already relegated team.Anyone who has been going long enough will have seen it all before, several times, once the stuffing has been knocked out of a team that's it, curtains!!
It's ok for all the newbie fans to keep giving it the PTID and keep the faith stuff, but the signs are there, seen it all before, it's what we do, we go up and we f*** it up,,,,it's just taken a little bit longer this time!!

Barnsley at home on a cold Tuesday night beckons!!

I agree with all that.
I believed we were down before Allardyce was appointed.
Still, there's always a glimmer of hope and if anyone can pull us out of this tailspin then I reckon we've got the man to do it.

People said that about Swansea and Hull - look at those 2 now; flying with good appointments. We're the only team that hasnt had that 'fresh appointment reaction' and it needs to come now.

A lose to Bournemouth for me will all but relegate us. We have to get at least a point, if not go for all 3. Watford beat them and they have been woeful of late, you have to get your gameplan right. Down to BS to earn that pay check.
