1. Hennessey - Following on from last week. Couldn't be blamed blamed for any the goals and made some saves. Makes me think that Hennessey was never the problem bit that pie eating excuse for a coach Andy Woodman was to blame)

2. Schlupp. Clearly we've made a good signing. As with our luck for the last year, now injured.

3. Kelly. For me much more composed and assured at centre back than he is at full back. Good cover .

4. Townsend. Arguably man of the match for apalace today. May well have be performing to get a move, but nevertheless his best game for a long time.

5. Lee / Mutch. I thought both did reasonably well against top class opposition. Not saying either are first 11material, but both showed they are quite capable of holding down a squad place at the club.

Team played with great spirit and structure. Played against a good and strong City side, but fought hard and can see clean sheets coming along with some wins. Hope it starts on Tuesday

Kept another clean sheet. Problem is it was at the wrong end again.

What game are you people watching?

Our boys aren't (and haven't been for ages) doing even simple, fundamental basics correctly.

s*** shower at the minute. No positives today, just absolute dross. £30m worth of useless up front, £15m of crap on the wing, £12m of hamstring injury, not to mention all the other merchants.

Overpaid useless clowns. No leaders on the park - no passion, no pace, no heart... everyone there for a payday.

Dreadful

That I didn't waste 25 pound to watch half hearted players with no desire and passion.

Not interested.

Our cup final steered Parish into keeping Pardew on and us into this sh1t. Now there is one focus and mission.

1. Stand in the middle of your goal for a 25 yard free kick.
2. Schlupp injured and now out for a couple of weeks.
3. Well done Andros, played well. Clearly not too keen to shipped back up north this week.
4. Chungy, good first half, actually passed it forward this week. Second half - lightweight.
5. Mutch. Don't get me started. Could we not loan him out in exchange for Boateng. My kids won't wear gloves to the football because it is not cold enough. This Cnut has gloves on and a short sleeved shirt.

^And this^

And an extra award to the smug idiot(s) who thinks not going to the match is a positive thing. Keyboard warriors who on other occassions spout the whole "..been a fan for years/thru thick n thin" b@//ocx.

I thought we done ok with the team that we put out.
The first 15 mins was all City then we held our own and almost scored only to be outdone by a goal just before half time.
Then Remy gets under the ball just after half time to put it over. Would like to have seen a challenge on Silva as he run the entire length of the field before passing for 2-0 and that was game over. 3-0 flattered them but for me it was the best we had played at home since Southampton
