If there is evidence, then its is right to investigate, it's the witch hunt element, assuming something must of been going on, when there is no evidence. They claim to be investigating all Premier London clubs, but Palace claim they haven't been contacted by the Met.

I stand by my comments, that the Establishment know a lot more about what has been going on, but for some reason the Met don't feel the need to investigate them.

When this all started, Palace stated they had had no reports nor contact with the Met. Then this news broke yesterday, have Palace subsequently issued a statement ?? as in last night or today?

Clinton is Clinton. I have known him for a long time, I know his mother... Simon Jordan

Listening to talksport this morning, they implied that both Palace and Tottenham had released statements today denying that they had contact from the Met but looking online I cant find anything newer than December so who knows?

In fairness, your original statement didn't suggest that was your point, hence everyone jumped all over it.

Total farce.

They wasted millions on Operation Yewtree, when the Establishment were the guilty party covering everything up for years. Now going to waste more time and money.

Better off devoting their time catching criminals and terrorists.

Like child sex offenders? I doubt the victims think of it as a waste.

I agree, vis-a-viz members of the establishment, and that a number of bodies and organisations were protecting these vile beings.

But its not a 'witch hunt' if you actually have find real witches, so to speak. Its not a witch hunt if you convict paedophiles, before a jury of their peers, beyond a reasonable doubt.

That's justice. To me, it doesn't matter if you raped someone yesterday, or thirty years ago. You're still a rapist and a threat to others.

Well, I am no Inspector Morse but normally you have suspicion/ some evidence and then gather some /more evidence. The fact that several of the named people have a fair bit of previous would indicate that they are certainly looking in the right direction.

There will undoubtedly be one or two people who may try to settle old scores by accusing innocent people but that does not mean that you should not go after the guilty.
