Gravity? It's all a bit of a mystery

It's not all about ghosts and spoon bending.

Quite, whilst I am sceptical and wary of the supernatural as an explanation, metaphysics is not just limited to the supernatural.

Metaphysics in relation to qualities, is I believe, perfectly acceptable. Existentially, as well, the absence of something, is as relevant as the presence of something in the defining of experience. As reality and the external world can only be experienced subjectively, then both the real and the not real are equally important, provided the not real is known or knowable.

If I arrive somewhere, expecting something or someone to be there, their absence is as significant to my experience of reality as their presence would be.

Of course this leads us into phenomenology....

How, would you dismiss it? Fundamentally, it can only be reduced to correlated phenomena or measurements, which whilst related, are only a part of the whole. Eventually, reductionist approaches must accept that some quality of happiness exists that is 'sublime' in its nature.

Although, I do prefer the idea of the hyperthetical concept, over the idea of it being metaphysical.

Apparently 'happiness is a field of grain' [Ken Dodd]

The world of quantum mechanics seems to lend itself to metaphysical interpretation. It appears to to have no rational or measurable quality and to be altered by observation.
That is certainly not supernatural in the classic sense but it certainly is counter intuitive and has a potential effect on existence that is currently invisible and mysterious.

Bit like Andros Townsend then.

He did assist the second goal last night. That was almost a supernatural experience.

Very much so. If Andros Townsend, is in the squad, the only possibility of determining if its the prodigious acclaimed England talent, or the fishmonger from Middleton who has only ever once looked at a ball, is to play him.

Townsend emulates a quantum particle perfectly. In that its impossible to tell whether it is positive or negative, until you've committed to finding out.

We don't need Schrödinger.

Townsend is never alive in the box.
