Impressed with Townsend today. Can't be easy with all the speculation surrounding him but he didn't mope and put a shift in. Credit where credits due. If he does that more often would like him to stay.

Played with a bit of heart and desire at last. Intent was there. That has to be an absolute requirement for every single game now if we are to avoid the drop. Every minute of every half. Gets forward well and gets balls into the box. One iffy pass at the back but apart from that fitted into the system but then of course he has a telepathic link to Sam. Wish he'd have put that chance away though! Panicked.

Thought the team spirit looked very good at the final whistle. CB and Townsend big grins, hopefully losing mentality is going. I am more confident for the rest of the season now.
