I have to say I was flabbergasted when I heard about the Kone connection.Didn't think that at this stage of his career he would make a positive contribution to the cause. Martinez paid Levante £4 Mill when he signed him for Wigan and later for Everton for £6 Mill. Probably firmly entrenched in Allardyce's mind was the hat-trick Kone scored against Sunderland not long after Allardyce took over. Edited by Willo (04 Feb 2017 9.39am)

Days later after the flounce he signed.

Clearly there are clubs who are not totally 'Au Fait' with rules and regulations in terms of transfers.Only this week, 2 players who were signed on 'Loan' had their loan cancelled as they had already played for 2 clubs this season - this includes playing for 'National League' clubs.
