If we are just venting general things, why can't people say Millwall or Brighton without changing them to Millw**k or Br*ghton? It's not like Voldermort, they aren't going to suddenly appear when you call their names. It's a genuine question, are people thinking a Brighton fan will come on here and see that we have called them "Brighton" and go back to his mates and go "lads, lads, you'll never guess what, a Palace fan called us Brighton and didn't use any asterisks"? Sorry folks, but asterisks don't hurt people. I wouldn't pee my knickers if I saw us called Cryst*l P*lace....

The man who has now got only our second clean sheet of the season. We should back every one at our club and give everyone a second chance now the window has closed including Townsend etc. Good luck SA! Totally agree. Glad someone finally came out and said it! I think 'Big Sam' is probably OK though.

I think Big Sam is fine also, although the abbreviation there is BS which could be seen as worse haha. There's just no way you can spin Big Fat Sam as an affectionate nickname. My thinking is as well, every other club is going to call him Big Fat Sam, call him a crook etc and say he's archaic and outdated. It's a bit like how Palace is such an unfashionable club that the likes of the other London clubs Totteham/Arsenal/Chelse/Man Utd can't fathom why we keep bugging them and won't just go down to the Championship where we belong. An unfashionable manager for an unfashionable club with an unfashionable ground. Let's all get behind that and p*** off everyone else in football, not join them in calling our manager names.
