This post has been merged from a topic called 'Townsend to Leicester for £14m?' by bexleydave Is that for his boots? Seriously there is no way we will be taking £14mill for Townsend. We couldn't get a good replacement with that.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Townsend to Leicester for £14m?' by bexleydave Pretty sure he's happy here but that price is a joke, were we looking to sell we'd never replace his experience for that money

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Townsend to Leicester for £14m?' by bexleydave Leicester might well want to sign him for £14m. Chances of getting him for that are about the same as getting Wilf for £40m or AWB for £25m.

Even if this were true, firstly I imagine Palace would want at least double that figure and secondly I'm not sure why Andros would want to go there? He is a London boy and we are not that far off Leicester in terms of chances of making Europe. Once the memory of their PL win wears off they'll lose their attraction.
