I have been going to Palace for over 50 years. In all that time I have seen several great keepers play for the Palace.
I'm sad to say that Henessey is by far the worse. Since he has been between the sticks he has never filled me with any confidence at all.
No confidence in commanding his box. No communication with his back four. Distribution slow and unreliable.
I hope today after again mistakes leading to two of the goals he is taken out of the first eleven. Speroni or Steve back in please.

Normally short keepers are liners, like Mannone, but Wayne is a giant yet is terrified to leave his line. The normal saving grace is that "he's a good shot stopper", but you can't even say that with him. If it's on target it seems 90% of the time it's a goal.
Jules may be old, but he's a still a shot stopper and right now we need someone who can make the odd save.

Maybe so, but a job he clearly is incapable of doing to a satisfactory standard. We should have kept Alex McCarthy.

And Shilton was in goal until 60! So age doesn't work!

Second goal couldn't do much about
Third and forth should have got a hand to
