Not putting in a shift is down to poor management. I tend to agree with the pundits on talk sport Sam has lost his mojo

not suprised the players dont want to play for him.

hes a crooked busted flush

more interested in taking bungs nowadays than his career

to top it off hes gone & spent £40m on magic beans to save out season.

They don't want that man to succeed and feel he needs to be punished.
They won't believe or admit it but it's a sub conscious decesion.

They didn't seem that keen on playing for Pardew. Let's not forget we had the worst record of any club in 2016.

I am not sure about the OPs logic but I think he may have a point.

Some of the comments calling out players may have had an effect on morale, maybe it's just that they've been losing for so long. It could be as simple me pundits say the Palace job was too soon for Allardyce but I think we dropped a few % when Pardew went.

Today isn't the end of the world but we don't have much wiggle room.

Not just the body language Songsta. Since Sam arrived we have seen players arguing amonsgt themselves ie Zaha and Dann and arguing with fans. Something is seriousely wrong. I wonder what is happening on the training field. If sam does not sort it out Steve Parish must step in and fast.

I think the respect factor that you need from any leader has been blown out of the water since the England job affair

How about this for a theory.

They don't play for '' the man ''.

They play for the club. For the fans. Oh, and of course the money.

Not wanting to play for SA had nothing to do with WH dropping the ball. Or the defence failing to close players down shooting from range. Or for the schoolboy like defending against Defoe.

I very much doubt that any of this shower are taking any moral high ground over what happened with SA and the England job. If they are that sensitive they should donate last Saturday's appearance money to charity.

There is no onfield leadership. Its been missing since Pardew dropped Jedi.

Everybody needs to wake up to the fact that Allardyce was the obvious candidate for the job.

If you can't buy into it then point the finger at Steve Parish - he appointed him.

Forget the excuses SA is the right man to sort out our problems if anyone can.

The players and us supporters would not of been massively shocked when AP got the boot and all we heard when Sam came in was don't worry now Sam will soon put it back on track the players are too good to go down. Perhaps we all got sucked in and relaxed a bit and now panic has set in and we can't arrest the fall. Luckily a few other clubs are falling with us so we can't give up just yet.

This is where you may find it hard to comprehend but the exact examples you point out are in fact the direct results of not wanting to play for SA
