7400 mile round trip for me. If I get the 6pm flight out of Detroit, land at Heathrow 7am Saturday morning, I can be in the Cherries by 11.30 easily. I have to be at Detroit airport for 4pm, leaving my house at 2.30pm Friday.......and getting in the Cherries at 11.30am Saturday: a total time of 16 hours. Then I have to fly home of course..... Last weekend, for the Sunderland game, I flew to London on Thursday night and went on the piss on Friday. I usually get over once per month. A bit off topic but what's it like over there now Trump's got in. Also what's Detroit like as a city to live in?

I was thinking I might bring little ferret no. 2 down so that he could get a ride on an airie and see Palace in real life but after seeing that feeble apology for a performance I don't think I'll bother my arse. After all if we want to go and look at a great steaming pile of s***e there's a perfectly good cowp just down the road. He'd prolly prefer a trip to the Bernabeu anyway

It takes me 2 whole minutes if I walk slowly and 30 seconds if I run (and I don't get caught at the lights on Selhurst Road)... I'll never get that time back.

So much admiration for the people that do all these crazy journeys. Mine's about 1 and a half each way door to door. But it's the sh*t times that makes the good times even better. We'll turn it around.

I travelled up to Crystal Palace park for a parkrun first and then went for a lovely burger in the Postal Order before walking to the ground. I don't know how long that took but I thought I'd bore you all with my pointless story anyway.
