The disease of addiction is a terrible blight hoof, no matter what form it takes. Remember that the the definition of an alcoholic is someone that drinks the same amount as you,but you dont like them. We all have our own crosses to bear. I just try to be a bit less of a c*** each day and as long as my kids like me i'm still winning.

Apologies to you sir and Hoof. Was on the phone and the font was not conjusive to my eyesight. However, it is easy to judge those blighted by compulsion and/or mental illness from a position of strength. As one who has been "cursed" with both of these conditions, as it transpires, pretty much my whole life i can empathise with TPT. Fortunately for me medication, therapy and love (some of it very tough) have enabled me to return to what most would consider a "normal" life. Totally understand your stance though as i have the same opinion of pot heads. Totally irrational after every thing i have said but there you go. Again i apologise.

I don't really consider drug addictions and mental health issues to be the same thing. Sure you can get the latter from the former but mental health issues can happen to anyone and anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves.

Seriously here save the handwringing and pity party for the people who have to live with alcoholics , drug users and so on and pick up the pieces daily / regularly following their behaviour. It's a s*** life!
