we, as palace cant afford to have players in our squad just in case an ACL occurs, you & i both know it. to use that as a bat to hammer pardew with is lazy to say the least.

from when he came into post he left us with a better squad with minimum spend.

then bfcs comes in and spends £40m on players the selling club couldnt wait to get rid off with no outgoing sales and you seriously try and defend him...madness

Have to agree with braunstone. Parish learnt from his mistake when we got promoted and brought in too many players for the squad. Last Summer he adressed the striker problem and a couple of additions to the squad and stated that there would be money available for January. He could have brought another 4 players in but that would have been disruptive. Panic set in in December and all the planning went out the window and we are now left with a mess that wont be able to resolve this year. To all those idiots claiming the championship will be ok wake up and smell the coffee. We will have lower crowds ie lower renvenue, a manager with 1 year left on his contract and little if any chance of a return to the premier league. December was a backward step expecting Allerdyce to perform a miracle. Just because it worked with Pullis that is no guarantee.
