Yep - bad isn't it. And unfortunately the best chances we have had recently have fallen to a CB who couldn't hit a cows ar*e with a banjo. I pity Benteke, who despite the grief he gets on here, must think he has joined a rugby club rather than a football one given how the ball is hoofed upfield.

We now realise that the lack of a decent midfield playmaker is why we are going to be relegated.

...and also not changing the formation when this has been blindingly obvious for a year or so. I would say toothless through the centre but non existent might be better words. Tekkers would surely have put more away if anybody had been able to get near to him/supported him within the final third. He must be the only £30 million striker feeding on scraps in the league. Negate our wingers and we have nothing, who also haven't got to the byline enough times. At the moment our defence nor attack will save us.

Yep just seen were not playing. Guessing the entertainment that weekend is some kinda British bake off match. Might tune in...then again again our cake probably wouldn't rise to the challenge. My birthday on the 25th and just booked a night in London, do I want it ruined?

A couple of weeks off now, couldn't have come at a better time. Give him a couple of weeks to try and get them drilled and incorporate the new boys and if we come back and get stuffed by Middlesbrough then at least we'll have some Tuesday night fixtures next season which I always used to like.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Middlesborough pick up a point, which now means we need four points to go above them. Unless of course we thrash them at home.

You've gotta be kidding right ? Not a chance boro will have our number

Not bad, considering he'd just come off the plane and been chucked into the team. Two weeks' training and he ought to be really effective. I still wonder though whether the non-technical aspects of what Jedinak used to do have really been addressed. I also don't see him as a creative player so we'll still find it hard to pick a killer ball through the middle, we have to hit the wings and get it wide.

What are we doing in training all week? No tactics, no shape, no ideas and zero reaction from our tonking last match.

This group of players are so much better than than the performances they're producing which is what makes me feel so frustrated.

If we were Hull or Sunderland I could accept that from a limited pool of players you can't expect much but we've forked out big bucks for a severely misfiring team.

Sick of feeling dissapointed every single week.

How long before someone in management works out that draws will NOT keep us up. We need to WIN matches now. To do that we need to score. To do that we need to attack. To attack we need to play our attacking players. Its not rocket science, but the way we are dealing with it, it would appear it is.

Considering Luka has only just arrived i thought he did OK. Looks confident on the ball. For me Puncheon needed to be taken off earlier and Remy needs more time. He looks to be getting better each game. This 2 weeks off could be vital for us and gives the new players time to settle in more.

Milivojevic was quite promising. There were four animals on the pitch. The ref, 'our' van Aanholt who has nothing to do with defensive duties, that Neanderthaler Martins-Indi who cannot play football but would be succesful in shumo or in wrestling. The last one is that beast Pieters, who jumped on Benteke's back like a hungry beast who has not met a female pair amongst his team-mates.
That ref was more than disgusting, however we deserve this newer blow.

Trouble is I don't think there are so much better than the performances we are seeing there should be & the common belief is that there are. It's a misconception that there are talented players certainly not collectively on the contrary the evidence of hardly ever winning & losing so much is evidence of that. Player recruitment plays a part mixed in with some past it & permanently out of form as a combination. It's a recipe for a poor show.
