You're quoting the official tweet from CPFC, You know exactly who that dig was aimed at.

Stop being so insecure about your own support, the HF dont do it any better or any worse than you.

Exactly.

Storm in a tea cup and precious fans getting offended for no reason.

I do agree about the tourists as well. f*** the extra revenue, too many of the daytripping t***s at Palace these days and we need to limit their numbers, not ask for more of them to come!

I disagree, these day trippers come along, buy a ticket that is probably at higher rate than the ST, buy a souvenir or two, take a selfie and go home. It's a business and it's about money. Why you think Man U gets so much revenue from shirt sales? What the die hard fans between then buy all the shirts? BS.
Nothing at all wrong with day trippers, but what the board need to is have areas in the ground that are predominantly ST holders, family stands, day trippers etc. I'm sure they try but at the end of the day, there will be a clash from someone not happy. It's like a parent may object to the bad language used by some, so yeah, the family stand it is.
But to be pissy towards someone that wants to support palace for a day, wether it be for the team or the club by injecting cash into it.

Dinosaur thinking will only keep us back.

This was once a quality forum....

They were of course wrong to post this.
And I don't think they meant it in the way of blocking all overseas fans. And yes who can stop people supporting our club. I wish someone would have stopped me!
However....
I am a season ticket holder in block Y of the Arthur and is becoming increasingly pissed off with day trippers filming everything including me and my kids, asking to take photos of them etc etc
This is the stub hub era that has destroyed atmospheres at the likes of white hart lane and now destroying selhurst so I kind of get their point, or at least the point I think they were aiming at!

So, correct the HF shoudlnt have posted this, but I think I get what they were getting at.

This.... Nothing against any one of a particular race or nation but the arthur is becoming a haven for the foreign spectators who neither have any interest or knowledge of the club.

To be fair seems bizarre that whilst visiting the UK if you had been remotely following english football since 2016 you would pick our team to watch .

Despite the above i have huge respect for overseas fans that battle time differences etc to watch games and make the costly trip over.

Great to hear everyone's opinions which are in the mostly very positive. I think that at one point or another if we are local or not we have put gone out of our way for this football club. I think even watching them at the moment can be unpleasant at times so fair play to us all. The last time I was at Selhurst I saw a group from Korea come and cheer on Chungy! Personally I thought it was fantastic they came but obviously others think differently. There is a great group of us over in Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver and a few of us are even planning a trip next year to an away game no matter what division we are in. I personally hope to be back this year for the Burnley game to either say bye to the prem for a while or to celebrate a miracle. Either way I will be excited to be back. In the meantime we will continue to meet on Saturdays at Scallywags in Toronto, If any of you are ever there feel free to join us every week.

What a refreshing post, you are always welcome at Selhurst Park.
There always seems to be a group of cheerful looking Koreans at most games.I presume they come to see Chungy, and i feel a little sorry for them because he hardly gets on the pitch.

Sadly there are too many fans who don't think you're a real fan unless you were born close to selhurst park, supported them when they were s**t, go to every game home and away, and stand up and sing the whole game....Anyone else is just a plastic. I think its fantastic we have overseas supporters/visitors who want to come and support us rather than Chelsea, arsenal, etc. Long may it continue..
